Fresh Cut June Promotion

Oooh, these are the neatest thing I've played with for awhile now! Stampin' Up! is giving us an opportunity to get one of the brand new Stamps in the Fall/Winter Idea Book coming out in August. During the month of June, when you purchase the Fresh Cuts stamp set (which is Die-Cut by the way!), an elegant floral set with a sophisticated French-inspired flair, you receive the coordinating Fresh Cut Notes at a special price of just $5. These notes are Whisper White laser-cut scored note cards with a gorgeous open-work flower in the front, and their unique size of 4x4 inches makes them fun to work with. Square cards are the hot, new shape. f you prefer to order just the Fresh Cut Notes & not the Stamp Set they are $8.95 for 15. The stamp set sells separately for $21.95 during June. Another neat thing about the Notes is that SU's 5 Petal Punch matches the center of the Laser Cut perfectly! (Check out the Pink & Olive Card below - the pink punch is underneath the die-cut area). Stampin' Up! is so smart to coordinate their products this way.

$$ Saving Offer! For those who purchase the bundle I am offering the coordinating 5 Petal Punch for only $13.

Hostess Benefit: Also, from June 1 through June 30, place a Stampin' Up! product order of $400 or more and you will receive the Fresh Cut stamp set and coordinating Fresh Cut Notes FREE. This is a $30.95 retail value in addition to regular hostess benefits. Email me for your special ordering code to get this discounted bundle price and to place your order today! Here's some additional samples to enjoy!

Simplicity. Just lovin' these laser cuts!

You really can't see it that well, but I stamped the taffeta ribbon and added the rhinestone brads along the bottom. There's just too much you can do with this stamp set and matching laser cut notes. I can't wait until the new catalog to see what else exciting Stampin'Up! has to offer. Hummmmmmmmm, now that i look at this card I think i need to add a button in the center for accent.

I've so enjoyed adding color to these laser cut cards. This time i took our Old Olive Prints Designer Series paper and layered it behind the punched out flower. Added a flower from our Flower Accents and a half pearl from our Pretties Kit. Finished off with our White Taffeta ribbon along the side.

I wanted a little bit of color and wanted the subtlety of the gray ink. So, it's been quite some time since i've pulled out my Stampin' Pastels. But, love the little bit of color.

Included in the set is "Thank You". I wanted to add the circle punch so i used my Stampin' Write marker to break up the expression.

Happy Birthday Patty!

With convention coming up at the end of July I've signed up for numerous WOW swaps. The other evening I was visiting with another demo friend, Elisa, and she showed me this really cool Pop Up card that she had found on Dawn's blog. The next morning I read on Patty's Bennett's blog her birthday card challenge so I thought, "Why not?" I had received the stamp set "Party Hearty" as a demo sales incentive a couple of months ago so thought why not use it. It's a new stamp set coming out in the new 2008 Fall/Winter Idea Book. So what do you think? Kinda out of my box type of stamping. Not my usual color selection but chocolate is hot right now so thought why not. So, Happy Birthday, Patty. Here's to many more!

Father's Day Suit card is just too cute!

This card is just too stickin' cute! Actually, the original cardbase was made to be standard size but I realized that it wouldn't fit into an envelope so I trimmed the base down to a height of 5 1/4" . Thanks Cindee for noticing! The card was made using our Old Olive Prints Designer Series paper and retired Chocolate Satin ribbon. Sure hope Stampin' Up! brings back the satin ribbon. It is just perfect for this card. I did, however, practice with some of our current 5/8" grograin ribbon and that works too. Our black buttons finished off the card.

More on the Father's Day trio

The photo below shows an open view of the photo wallet.

I did it! I'm finally organized!

So, here's my workspace, or at least part of it. I have additional space in my closet and along other walls. Thanks to my friend, Cindee, who knew i needed help getting it done. Now I'm able to actually sit down at night and stamp. It all started over a year ago when i bought the drawer units at the Container Store but i knew the walls needed something. With the help of Uppercase Living I was able to finally put the finishing touches on my room. I just love it!

This is a closer look at the expression I created for over my workspace. I was inspired by the article on organization in our April 2008 Stampin' Success. Knowing the amazing abilities of the Design Tool on the Uppercase Living website I created this 4 foot expression just how i wanted. My own fonts, size and colors. Do you have an expression you would like? Well, then go to my Uppercase Living website (Register with Demo 487562 and token marini). Once registered you can go to the My Design Tool and see just how amazing this tool is. For additional inspiration visit my Uppercase Living blog.

Finally Finished at last

I finally finished the wall over my computer desk. Actually the canvas was one long graphic expression that i divided and applied to 12" canvases. Initially I wanted to add a chocolate wash but then decided I just wanted to put them on the wall. "Life Is A Journey"! I truly believe in this expression as I am the only one who determines who I am, where I go and how I will get there!

Welcome to my Stampin' Room!

This basically says it all! Welcome to my world of Stampin'Up! and Uppercase Living. This starts it all with my custom designed expression. I actually just put up the scissors first but when my son asked me one night, "So, mom, what are you doing tonight Stampin' Stickin or Sewin'?" I knew i had to add the expression to the door. Oh, sewin? That's upstairs in the loft!

Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

So, Cindee and I have been busy once again! We found this adorable tag card holder and just had to do it. The original by Andrea Walford was intriguing but we tweaked it. Now that we have the project done look for an upcoming class. Can't wait to share it in the next couple of months.

So, here's the card holder opened up. What a perfect gift idea. It's just so cool when it folds downwards to reveal the four tag cards. The neatest part was using my cutter kit to score the cards so all you have to do is tear off the card and send in the decorated open end envelope!

Had fun watercoloring with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Aqua Painter. Have never claimed to be an artist but I guess if I do it more I just might get better.

What a cool way to keep the tag open by using our exclusive My Way punch. The jumbo brads are a cool accent.

So, here's a better look at the album opened up. Just need to add pictures and journaling.

A close up look at the album.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

This last week has been filled with excitement as demonstrators were able to sign up for convention. This will be Stampin'Up!s 20th Anniversary! Geez, it seems like just yesterday that i signed up, but it's going on 7 years. Can you believe that? A favorite part of convention, or any Stampin'Up! event, are the swaps. So, i've been busy checking out the many swaps that are being hosted and came across this cute project by an amazing stamper by the name of Kristina Werner. So, as a special present to my mom I created my version of a Mini Pocket Book. At first i thought it would be an amazing project for my collection of colored staples but later found out that just your basic staples work out best but make sure you have a long neck stapler. Found that out the hard way! So, enjoy the many facets of this project.

First View!

So, this is the book when you first open it up. The left hand side has one large journaling page and the "swing" tags are to the right. Don't you just love the Summer Picnic Designer Series paper? I sure hope Stampin'Up! comes out with another winner when they unveil the new 2008 Fall/Winter Idea Book and Catalog. Oh, and yes, they're going back to the name Idea Book instead of Occasions! Yeah!!!

Last page of journaling.

The last page for journaling. You can't see it too well, but the cherries are behind the scalloped circle punch, not on top. Hummmmmmmmm, might have been easier to do that! Oh well.

Computer Journaling to match our exclusive colors.

This was a poem i found that just kinda said it all! And, i printed it off of my printer and coordinated the colors so they matched the book. Contact me for this cool conversion chart for all our exclusive Stampin'Up! colors including our In Colors! I used Real Red and Old Olive. Oh, and all of the journaling pages were finished off using our Striped Grograin Ribbon. Here's hoping for more in the new catalog. Did I say "New Catalog"? Yeap, I sure did. The new catalog goes into effect August 11. That's one of the coolest things at convention this year. I get to view the new catalog with thousands of other demos. Can't wait!

Two of the journaling pages done MY way!

These are the two "swing" journaling tags. Not being one for journaling i opted for stamps. I love the Define Your Life
stamp set.

Carousel Notes are just too fun!
